My First Blog

Hello,

So I've wanted to start a blog for over a year but hesitated because I didn't know what to write about. It's not that there's a lack of material, rather that I like to talk about so many things that I had a hard time narrowing them down to something I could blog about without going crazy trying to write in my limited time. Thanks to a school assignment, I had to make up my mind and the blog is now up.

I like stories. Preferably books, as my dream is to be a novelist, but I enjoy movies, TV shows, random tales my friends tell about their lives, etc. This blog is for me to write about my writing, but I also want to talk about the other stories I appreciate as I read/see/hear them. To me, the stories I hear are the fuel for my own imaginative processes so the more books I read and think about, the better my own writing will become.
